When I was young I was taught that; When an infection enters your body, your body creates antibodies to fight it. Once your body “develops” these antibodies, you are no longer susceptible to that strain of infection. What am I missing or why is COVID-19 different?
I am not concerned about covid19 but the bs may kill us all.
Why different? Trump is President and they need the terror to last until the election.
So they are saying it is just like a common cold. Hmmmmm.
Until a virologist chimes in..I will just leave this here. It is not of any great significance why I posted this one.Just one that popped up in a search. I am sure there hundreds out there discussing it.

With the surge of admits we are getting scarce. For me:
Plasma: pretty fair. 1-2 day turn around.
Remdesivir: day to day. Tenuous. Takes ID approval which sometimes means 1-2 days because of ID docs cover multiple hospitals.
Tociluzimab: Ran out today. Takes pulmonary approval. So many stormers I have been pulling the trigger like a M-16 lately. I have a 48 y/o man teetering the drain. Luckily pharmacy borrowing 400mg dose from another hospital.
Dexamethasone: fine
Anticoagulation: fine.
and this was interesting
“Haven’t heard anything about shortages of dexamethasone or heparin. Heparin is the one that I was most concerned about considering it’s randomly been on backorder in the past. Anecdotally, I think the fact that we are proactively anticoagulating most of these people is what has really helped our death rates go down.”
IF true then there is no point in making a vaccine
It isnt. Its called Panic Porn
medcram has been talking about this issue for a long time. Vascular issue
“Autopsy studies of coronavirus patients show that blood clots from the disease are present not only in the lungs but also in “almost every organ”, a New York University pathologist told CNN on Thursday.”
and this
“According to CNN, researchers plan to determine the connection between the large bone-marrow cells and small blood vessel clotting in the coronavirus.”
So if you have a blood disorder because you have wacky bone marrow...are you more at risk.....still too much unknown
Mutations? I believe that’s why the flu vaccine hasn’t eradicated the flu.
I believe in a simplistic sense (the level of most of us) this is the best answer.
I remain unconvinced that there will be a vaccine due to the ability of the virus to mutate.
Suggests. A fart suggests lactose intolerance but it also suggests lentils or kidney beans.
