So they are saying it is just like a common cold. Hmmmmm.

this is supposedly a "novel" virus...its only been known to us for a few months....

how can a study know what is going to happen to us in the future, "reinfecting people year after year"....

at least they pointed out that their study was no peer reviewed yet...

That’s not what they’re saying. They’re saying it can continue to infect you year after year. The common cold doesn’t cause organ failure, blood clots, lung damage, and some of the other long term effects that this bug can cause in seriously ill victims. No cold does that.
