Failure to comply in Cuyahoga and other counties (Butler, Franklin, Hamilton, Huron, Montgomery, Trumbull, Wood, Lorain, Summit, Fairfield, Pickaway, Clermont) could result in 2nd degree misdemeanor punishable by a $750 fine and up to 90 days in jail.

Per The Akron Beacon Journal:

The penalty for violating an Ohio health order is a second-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to a 90-day jail term or a fine not more than $750.

Summit County Public Health will enforce the mask mandate. To report violations, call 330-926-5795.


So apparently we can now be arrested by our health department officials.
