I don’t go in stores that require masks.
A lady here has a mask and cut a hole in it so she could smoke her cigarettes through the mask.
In my state (Washington) the entire state is under the mask rule. I refuse to put up with the pretense and I refuse to wear a mask.
If I’m challenged I tell them I am exempt due to medical issues. If they press I remind them that it is against the ADA statutes to question a private citizen about their medical history (I’m talking out my butt here but everyone assumes it is the truth).
If it is a Karen jacking me up I politely tell them to ESAD.
So far so good.
A thong can count as covering one’s butt or a pasty counts as covering a breast.
1. Go with a light, easy to breath through fabric.
2. Write on it some Latin phrases, such as Imperium est mentiri te (the government is lying to you), Mens imperium Fabrica (mind control device), Tyrannidem incipit parva (tyranny starts small) or Servitutem Trainedr (slavery trainer).
The Latin will make you look smart and force curious people to look it up. It will be more memorable if they have to do a little work.
Write “Training burka” on it.

Here’s what I do and we’ve had mask mandate here for three months now
Simply take one of those silly masks with the little two-year-old things and put it on your chin and walk in with your mouth and nose uncovered by the mask
You’ve met the requirement and then somebody they really have to be a Karen has to come up to you and signal to you or say pull it up on your mouth or nose
if anybody ever tries out with me I just give them a stern look move it a centimeter not on my mouth or nose and then move on
Legally they can make you put something on they cannot make you put it on your mouth and nose 1that is the fine distinction
So it’s a chin mask
Mask are used to slow particulates, a sneeze or a cough. Does anyone know how small a virus is as compared to the holes in the fabric of a mask? It can backstroke through

wear a T-Shirt that says
1) “Professional rioter! I don’t need no stinking masks!”
2) “I already had it. Piss off Karen!”
3) “If you can ready this, your closer than 6 feet and I feel like a cough coming on.”
4) “My uncle id Dr. Fauchi and he said I didn’t have to were one.
5) and my favorite were a lone ranger mask and when confronted, just say “oh! They want me to wear one over my mouth? Man they shouldn’t have legalized weed!
I do not wear a mask. Is that enough protest for you?

Just wear it. And take it off when you get out. We all have to here. The thing is, when you see the frightened sweet elderly, you are comforting them by wearing it. It’s sad, it’s a bit dumb, but they have been told by their trusted news sources that it will save them. So just wear it in the shop. Your 20 minutes of shopping is not enough time to get into any kind of argument about personal rights. But for damn sure don’t wear it out on an empty street, on your bike, or alone in your car!
I ran into the UPS store to drop something off - there was a sign and everyone had a mask on so I pulled my shirt up over my mouth.
Everyone was fine with that.
