US bets on untested company to deliver COVID-19 vaccine
When precious vats of COVID-19 vaccine are finally ready, jabbing the lifesaving solution into the arms of Americans will require hundreds of millions of injections. As part of its strategy to administer the vaccine as quickly as possible, the Trump administration has agreed to invest more than half a billion in tax dollars in ApiJect Systems America, a young company.
Its injector is not approved by federal health authorities and the company hasnt yet set up a factory to manufacture the devices. The commitment to ApiJect dwarfs the other needle orders the government has placed with a major manufacturer and two other small companies.
The fact of this matter is, it would be crazy for people to just rely on us. I would be the first to say it, said ApiJect CEO Jay Walker. We should be Americas backup at this point, but probably not its primary.Trump administration officials would not say why they are investing so heavily in ApiJects technology.
The company has made only about 1,000 prototypes to date, and its not clear whether those devices can deliver the vaccines that are currently in development. So far, the leading candidates are using traditional vials to hold the vaccine, and needles and syringes in their clinical trials.
RELUCTANT SUPPLIERApiJect founder Marc Koska never intended to vaccinate the United States. For the past five years, hes been working on his lifetime mission of creating an ultra low-cost pre- filled syringe that would reduce the need to reuse needles in the developing world.
Instead, the companys biggest customer has become the U.S. government. ApiJect received a no-bid contract earlier this year from the Defense Department under an exception for unusual and compelling urgency.

We are hearing rumblings about the US inventory of needles and syringes heading to other countries, wrote Bright. There is limited inventory in the supply chain, it could take 2+ years to make enough to satisfy the U.S. vaccine needs.
Navarro said the U.S. would need 850 million needles.
Interesting...
So a shortage of needles, and a company that can’t immediately fill the bill? Good-anything to slow down the dang mandatory crap they want to use CV for. After 2 years there will not have been enough deaths to justify it-especially if POTUS is re-elected.
I hate that he caved on wearing the mask in public. Hope he doesn’t keep repeating it. And it’s really stupid to see all these reporters out doors wearing masks, so you can’t even tell what they are saying half the time.
I sometimes think that the only reason they decided to have every one wear masks was so Antifa wouldn’t have to take theirs off—and that’s what the real “rule” should be-no masks in public- because masks are for robbers, looters, and terrorists.
that appears to be more of a “laundromat” of sorts than an injector at this point
“Trump administration officials would not say why they are investing so heavily in ApiJects technology.”

either the admin thinks the other co’s aren’t to be trusted, OR the admin officials are derps looking to sabotage again.?
This caught my eye :

I suspect it’s the only company not owned in part by Gates/Soros.
“Its injector is not approved by federal health authorities” and by that I suspect it means the FDA and CDC which have let us down spectacularly.
I think this purchase/plan is to be hyper ready for the next bio warfare attempt by China when the current planned-demic goes belly up. China has an inventory and they didn’t use their worst stuff.
Then guard the stockpile like life depends on it - respond with unparalleled speed should China do what China does.
The vaccine industry is shockingly reckless, according to litigator Robert F. Kennedy. This may be the only detour around the swamp.
