I utterly loathe spaghetti squash.
Carbohydrates are everything other than protein or fats and thus all vegetables and fruits as well as all grains are carbohydrates. Legumes are protein and carbohydrates. I wish people would say they avoid grains rather than carbs, its more accurate. Or do you mean all carbs?

My endocrinologist says it's starchy carbs(includes fruits). Leafy greens and such are “free”. Starchy carbs should be no more than 50-60g per day. IE 15 @ each meal (3 meals/da) and 15 at a snack-max. If it ain't green-it counts as a carb. This is tough when potatoes are the only veggie I really like.
I assume these guidelines are for special health conditions.
