Yeah...like Truman was "obliterated" in 1948.

Reality: Truman won, despite all the polls and the media saying Truman would lose. The Chicago Daily Tribune (above) even printed their headlines in advance on the night of the election saying" Dewey defeats Truman". Only he didn't.
