Within a few days, an activist on Twitter sussed out that the group was comprised of models and actors from Atlanta’s film and entertainment industries. A Twitter user who goes by Wolf The Red identified them from their Instagram accounts where he found the group modeling haute couture or publicizing their film credits, but “zero prior demonstrations. No posts with guns. No calls to action.”

The audience for this theater wasn't the militia: it was the low-information black males whose proclivities are to join the Black Panthers. I have to be straight with you-- it was a compelling message from their (the hood) point of view. It doesn't matter how this plays in mainstream America (is there even such a thing now?); it's how it plays in the hood.
The good news is this will not happen in 10,000 locations in a coordinated “time on target” attack, for national surprise.
The earlier wave of home invasions will be successful, because of the surprise factor, but people will adapt and come up with defenses appropriate to their area. Neighborhood QRFs, gating your neighborhood, watchtowers with remote cameras sharing their live video in rural areas etc.
But in all cases, it will be far better to begin an engagement by one defender with a scoped AR etc at 300+ yards, rather than at 30 yards vs ten guys with AKs.
THis will lead to certain groups being more or less shot on sight when out of their turf.
Revenge will be taken against the despised caucasians in their territory.
This can evolve into a race war very fast.
You do NOT want to live even in a “nice enclave” in a minority-run city. They will be the low-hanging fruit, the first to be attacked and overrun.

Correct. They’ll be able to assemble plenty of cannon fodder from there.

And all these men are part of your local militia and have signed on to your plan to cut off cities and take control of an autonomous region? I have no doubt they can defend their property and their neighbors should it come down to it. But you are mistaking self-defense with taking the offense. In the situation you are describing the current military will be gone and any military retiree with less then 30 years would be recalled especially those with special skills. We are obligated for thirty years and subject to Congressional recall if we retire. Where does that leave you with volunteers for your militia to cutoff the highways while simultaneously protecting their homes and families?
The area I live in is 80% or more prior military, everything from SEALS, MARSOC, RECON, Grunts and POGS. You do not want to come into this area to cause trouble and invade property it will not end well. But, taking the offense and going back into battle with a militia against an armed opponent. I not sure how many of the operators would be willing to do that let alone the POGS.
And from these big mobs, small affinity groups will meet.
Some will be straight up criminals with a burning hatred of whitey who are totally set for the home invasion route. Here, they will meet others with military training.
Once these sub-groups meet up, it won’t matter a damn what G.M. Jay thinks or tells them.
This current NFAC recruiting drive (that’s what Stone Mtn was) will propel the formation of these very dangerous independent groups. These small local groups will far outlast the NFAC.

I am pretty sure that WD is filmed around Senoia, which is well down south westish of metro Atl. Stone Mountain is more a smidge north, but mostly due East out of Atl.
Now if you are based in Atlanta, with it growing like a mushroom fairy ring, it probably is not much different drivewise, but geographically, they are well apart :)

Militia’s have not changed since the Revolutionary War. Newer weapons, better equipment but still poorly trained.

Not sure what you mean? We had four retirees recalled in 2004 and that was just our command. At least one went to Iraq. Or do you mean would not show up to fight or would not return to base?
If it was me, I grab my family and get my a$$ on base where they were safe, had food and a roof over their head. I can get another house.
