The many school staff who are morbidly obese and have other major health factors may not do so well.
I would think most children need and want that return to routine anyway. I’ll bet most are quite surprised to find themselves ‘missing school’, but they probably do. That is where most meet their friends and peers. Those friends are their other family once away from the home.
It’s always been that way.
