The kid was taken to a hospital and suffered a concussion.

The thug (is it ok to refer to him as such) didn’t slap the kid, he sucker-punched him from behind. He kind of danced up to him like he was joining the dance and when the kid turned away, he hit him with his fist.

When I was around 12 (1980s) I was walking home about a block from my house and passed a couple of black guys, looked to be older teens or maybe 20ish. My town was lily white so they were likely from Camden, NJ which was close to us. Anyway they walked by without incident and then one of them came running up behind me and punched me in the back of the head. I was totally unprepared and fell flat on my face into the concrete sidewalk. Luckily no broken teeth or anything other than scrapes. The black guys walked away laughing like crazy.

This sort of thing isn't as new as people seem to think. When they report such events it seems that they targeted kids or old people or fat guys. Seems they don't try this BS on a physically fit grown man.

Well sorry the kid has a concussion and nothing i said changes the fact the guy who did it is despicable or the fact that he did not bludgeon the kid. I repeat the act was heinous enough without the ‘journalist’ making shit up.
