"In May 2004, when Malta joined the European Union, it became an integral part of the European System of Central Banks. It was responsible for, amongst other things, issuing Maltese lira banknotes and coins, before Malta adopted the euro in 2008 and the bank became part of the Eurosystem."
"The current governor of the Central Bank of Malta is Mario Vella.
Apparently he sometimes publishes his poetry and short stories in Maltese or in English.
Here is one of his poems Wara r-Repubblika.
That translates to "After the Republic"
The Time has come
for the fire eater
to empty himself
on the crowd.
The time has come
for the high wire artist
and the flying acrobat
to fall and fertilize the ground,
the burnt ground, with their blood.
The time has come
to burn the circus top
and crucify the clown
and to release Barabbas,
the lion, from his cage.

My thoughts? WTH???!
For the theologically uninclined, Barabbas is a "type" of the last world leader sometimes known as "Anti-Christ". It interesting then that we have Barabbas "a conniving character who is out to gain political power and will use any means possible to gain it, including murder being chosen and released from prison instead of Jesus Christ?" Sounds to me like Barabbas is a type of the antichrist, whom people will choose over Christ in the last days. John 5:43 says "I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me. Yet if another man comes in his own name, you will accept him." (False Christ)
And this poem by the head of the Maltese Central Bank plainly states: "The time has come to burn the circus top and crucify the clown and to release Barabbas, the lion, from his cage."
Pretty blatant if you ask me. The fire eater empty himself on the crowd?
:: one of the processing agencies affiliated with the fund collection hub backed out to shut it down (halt collections for police). ::
Yet, the fund was setup to privately help people who are no longer police officers.
They lost their income, paltry as it likely was.
In other words, those police officers were defunded.
So, what’s the beef?
