The Flavian Dynasty (only threee emperors) righted the Empire after the Nero fiasco. The Colosseum was built during those years, as was the Arch of Titus which commemorated the destruction of Jerusalem. Both survive in pretty good condition, considering the age. The conquest of Ireland was apparently being planned, and the conquest of the rest of Scotland was left unfinished, probably due to the relative cost versus the utter lack of any worthwhile resources.
