“...where she makes a living braiding hair and selling her artwork.”
It’s nice that they want us to think that she’s self-supporting, but I think I read elsewhere she’s on the dole? Kind of a step down from running the local NAACP chapter, No? *SMIRK*
Secondly, she should actually be working in a sheltered workshop with the other lunatics.
She’s a Useful Tool for the BLM Pukes. For now. This is the ONLY reason we’re hearing anything from her quarter.
Welfare fraud charges
In February 2017, Dolezal was receiving food stamps. She claimed that she was on the brink of homelessness and was unable to find employment.[23]
In May 2018, Dolezal was charged with second-degree perjury and felony theft by welfare fraud by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.[127][128] The charges were filed after it was revealed that she had received $8,847 in food and childcare assistance between August 2015 and December 2017. During that time period, she had been receiving tens of thousands of dollars in unreported income, but had told the state that her income was less than $500 per month. State investigators discovered that after her book was published, approximately $83,924 had been deposited into her bank account in monthly installments between August 2015 and September 2017. According to the Spokane County prosecutor’s office, Dolezal could have received a sentence of up to 15 years in prison if she was found guilty.[129][130] She entered into a diversion agreement on March 25, 2019, agreeing to repay her assistance benefits and complete 120 hours of community service to avoid a trial.[131]
LOL, it made me think of an SNL sketch with John Malkovich where he plays a driftwood artist:
"...First I sand the wood until it is smooth, then I oil it until it is soft. It's usually a bird or a whale or a knotted, twisty shape. And then I glue a small squirrel on it."
