A friend is a highly acclaimed mastering engineer who re-mastered “Minute by Minute” and I was able to partner with him on that project.
When I visited him at his LA studio, he made an acetate of that album and was kind enough to include my website in the album credits.
The acetate sounds as close to the reel-to-reel master tape...but, alas, has a limited playback lifetime - about 30 plays.
Pity there isn’t a laser stylus that could read the grooves. Then you could play it indefinitely.
