TPTB also wish us to live in fear contrary by to what our faith tells us. I am in the high risk category. I treat covid patients most days as work, although lately not as much as the number declines. in my household we have a 94 year old as well as 2 actively practicing physicians. I trust in Jesus Christ for my protection and live without fear. If I live or die (of covid or something else ) either way He’s got this. The left doesn’t want us going to church to be reminded of that fact. People who are free and unafraid are difficult to control.

Reminds me of something Dennis Miller said decades ago. I guess he was on a plane where most of the passengers were Christians going to, or coming from, a convention. Then there was an obvious problem with the plane — it lost an engine or something. He asked something like “Have you ever been on a plane full of born-again Christians, the plane might be going down, and the Christians DON’T CARE?!”

Very good points all. Trusting in God sets you free, and that’s one thing the government sure doesn’t want.
I believe that's their campaign strategy. Confident people vote for Trump. Confident people question the narrative. Confident people ask why the gubberment is in the way of them doing what they want to do.
Fearful people are easily controlled, do as they're told. Fearful people worry. Fearful people...wear masks. Fearful people just want the troubles to go away. Confident people would ask...why is it the Left is behind every trouble we have? Is the problem institutional racism, or institutional liberalism? Questioning, not accepting. Remember, if you're catching flack, you're over the target.
So anyone who says there's nothing political about wearing masks is either lying or naive. For the Left, everything is political, always.
Gubberment is never in the way if you want to riot, or gang bang, or do drugs, or stand in the middle of the freeway at 1:00 AM. But go to church, open your business, go to the beach, no no. Can't have none of that nonsense.
