To a monkey it’s got to be a pretty good gig. Spend countless hours a day foraging for food every day or pick coconuts and get as much food as you can eat...in safety.
Learned this in grade school. Monkeys don’t pick coconuts, they twirl them until the stem breaks and it falls to the ground.
They are paid with ice cold soda pop. Bet they eat better than in the wild, too.
They were also trained by the RAF in 1940. Their motto:
“You can teach...MONKEYS to fly better than that!!”
