In South Dakota, the president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe has ordered President Trump to cancel a planned visit to Mount Rushmore on July 3 for his Independence Day celebration. Julian Bear Runner told The Guardian, The lands on which that mountain is carved and the lands hes about to visit belong to the Great Sioux nation under a treaty signed in 1851 and the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1868 and I have to tell him he doesnt have permission from its original sovereign owners to enter the territory at this time.

- the president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe-
Unless things have changed, I’m pretty sure the tribal presidency is a two year term. It is a requirement that the candidates live on the reservation. There are essentially no jobs on the reservation, thus the cohort of candidates eligible for this job is small. Historically, the natives could not agree on anything, except to vote for Democrats in the national & state elections, so most tribal presidents only last one term, making it difficult to implement any kind of an agenda.
Overall, its probably a pretty worthless job.
Indians have been shown through DNA to have come from Siberia.
“Original owners”, LOL. More like the losers who were defeated.
Thanks. My question would be, where were they, before they were in Siberia?
Probably wandering around lower Asia.
That would be the Cheyenne.
Oh?

Do Mormons really believe that rot gut idea? Well, then again, I suppose if they can believe in spirit babies on Star base Kolob, they can be deceived into believing anything. 😁🤪🤪😂
That’s what I thought.
I bet this guy was a beneficiary of Devon Arcger and Daniel Burrell’s bond fraud scheme that defrauded his tribe.
