I haven’t been following this story too closely, but has anyone said why that kid was in the CHAZ? It doesn’t really matter, I guess, but I’m curious.
Saw a story linked here on FR that said he was homeless, had just car-jacked the Jeep, and was seeking asylum in CHOP because they wouldnt let the police in. He rammed the barricade trying to get in and the CHOP guards shot him.
The deceased carjacked a car. While fleeing the police, he and his little accomplice pulled into CRUD because it was a police-free zone. While in CRUD, he was shot and killed. I'm sorry, but I'm not finding myself feeling bad about a felon getting killed.
I think he ( the deceased 19 y/o) wanted to join CHOP for the cause. He was helping to patrol the outside areas and noticed some of the other teens using fireworks just for the loud hell of it. He is said to have told them that wasn’t smart, since they were close to trees. The fireworks people didn’t like him ‘disrespecting them’. Somebody returned later with a little heat, and shot this young man dead, just to shut him up. That is the story I heard a few days back.
There have been so many tragic stories of hoodlums killing and maiming innocents and each other recently, it is hard to keep the stories straight.
After the father went to sleep a couple of friends of his son, who was apparently a mild ‘special needs’ kid and on the gullible side, talked his son into going with them to have fun and they all slipped out without waking the father. Not sure if they meant to go there or got confused.
Then when everything went sideways and the son was killed, the people at Chop refused to let anyone see the kid. Later, the city kept the family from seeing him for a week...
When a neighborhood declares itself lawless it is difficult to suddenly enforce rules at the barrel of a gun and sh!t and be credible.
Why didn’t the CHOD paramilitary guards wear bodycams? Why hasn’t all of their footage been released?
“OH! I see you aren’t dead yet!”
When his father went to bed on Saturday night the son was lying on the couch in the living room...sometime after that his friends came by or called him and took him to chop...
He was a premmie baby and had special needs...maybe he was easily influenced by the others...
