Does anyone in SoCal know of any active Conservative groups in the area? I don't want to believe that California is such a lost cause that no one out here will get active in the community and spread the gospel of personal liberty and self-determination.
The von Mises Circle in Orange County is a small group that holds monthly meetings to discuss economic issues, Their orientation is more on the libertarian side. They can be reached through Meetup at

They will be holding a meeting in Huntington Beach on July 12, but to attend, you must register in advance and only 50 will be allowed to attend—per Wuhan restrictions.
