He and gas-brained, fake blonde news-ho Martha McCallum want us all in our 1984 submission masks whenever we leave the house, yet I've never seen any of them wear one. And they work in urban indoor work environments.

I don’t mind Brett Baier and Martha McCallum recommending that you where a mask just like others have been including the House GOP leadership, the administration and even Kelly Anne Conway this morning. They are not ordering you to where the mask. I believe news anchors practice proper social distancing when not wearing the mask just like the president when they are speaking at the camera.

As I said yesterday on another discussion thread, we are just going to have to agree to disagree on this.

Do you feel an obligation to do anything you see on a commercial on TV? If it has you this worked up, you might want to check your meds or change the channel. Or maybe spend a little less time in the sun.

Even if you don’t die from COVID, you will give it to others who will. It’s a crime here not to wear a mask.

There are certain circumstances where wearing a mask would make sense, assuming all of the claims made about COVID are true (which is in serious doubt, given that a number of them contradict each other).

The argument is not whether masks can ever be of any benefit - obviously they can. The argument is whether the demand to wear them everywhere is at all reasonable, and it very clearly isn't. Many people are wearing these things with no possible justification other than as a sign of submission. Only today I saw people wearing masks while they were jogging alone and while hiking on trails in a secluded forest park. This is not within reason, but signs all around the park encourage this, as if it isn't completely ridiculous.

All overreach begins with reasonable ideas, and then incrementally increases until the end result is utter ridiculousness, but after so long a time that people don't even remember what normal looks like, and so don't long for it anymore. We are well on our way there.

I’m glad I don’t have cable. Otherwise I’d know I was supposed to wear a mask. Of course, I’d ignore it just like I ignore my RINO Governor and his unconstitutional edicts.

We’re heading to Michigan on vacation next week. Most of the time, we’ll be in a rural area with a Constitutional Sheriff who I’m sure is not enforcing the “rules.”
