70 counties voted against it. It passed with only 7 counties supporting it, largely those in or around our universities. So the overpopulated hives get their way... I hope Oklahoma isn't going the way of Virginia.

(Some) locals are predicting Norman will be to Oklahoma what Austin is to Texas. Tulsa already has the reputation of having the highest per capita ratio of fags to humans of any city in America.

So the overpopulated hives get their way.The Metro areas have been overriding the rural areas for years. One screaming example is when Nevada voted for background checks:
My argument has always been Electoral College votes by Congressional District and one vote for each county on state issues. Without them, large populations centers will always rule the roost.
