I have a cousin, outspoken SJW. He’s made this exact statement to me. Also, that black and white people have nothing in common, and that whites can absolutely not understand blacks. He’s also raised his voice in stout defense of that paragon of Civil Rights, Robert Byrd. The cherry on the cake is his throwing the term Racist around with abandon. You can’t reason someone out of a position that they didn’t reason themselves into.

Does your cousin live in WVA. Robert Byrd is a popular figure there. As one Mountaineer told me, ‘We don't care how corrupt he was and whether he was in the KKK or not. Robert Bryd used his office to pump a lot of money into this state which is normally treated as the bastard child of America, lower on the totem pole than Samoa. Bryd was the only reason we have some decent roads and there are a lot of health clinics and educational programs that he saw were funded. Dick Nixon signed the Clean Air Act without even reading it and the particulate matter requirements literally destroyed the coal industry here. Barrack ABM comes along and by executive fiat makes up standards that are even worse. We are a poor state and since we are mostly white and a lot of us are very old stock Anglo-Scots we are the one state and people that the political culture can defecate on and get laughs for it. Bryd was a crook but he helped us and no one else ever gave a crap about our state. The man was mostly right IMHO.

“You can’t reason someone out of a position that they didn’t reason themselves into.”

That’s Quotable!
The problem we have today is that these people are indoctrinated into these positions as a statement of faith. They expanded the number of truths that they hold self evident.

Your cousin is a racist who claims to hate racists.

Conclusion: he hates himself.

“..whites can absolutely not understand blacks”

“Can blacks ever truly understand whites?” would be a response to that bs.

"...You can’t reason someone out of a position that they didn’t reason themselves into..."

That would make a great tagline, FRiend!
