Something’s messed up about this whole virus thing.
AJ Mullins was my BRO! Very well loved musician around here in SWFL. He died of Covid Monday. 3 guys in his band got it. He died, drummer is in the hospital, bass player tested positive and is sick. Come on. They played Ft. Myers beach where the kids party a lot.
I think they have a more serious strain of that stuff, and when a red state starts opening up and having fun, they spray it around a little to keep us scared.
Meanwhile all over the area symptomless folks are testing positive.
I’ve been playing at our neighborhood restaurant/bar every Tuesday for free just to help my buddies who own it and to try to stay on my game a little so I’m ready when the gigs come back. I pay myself from my SBA pandemic relief loan. Everyone at my gig last night was joking that this was the Election Virus, and it’ll be gone in November. I’m not gonna loudly joke about it anymore. I don’t want to catch the attention of whoever is in charge of my local deep state virus fear spray program.

I read someplace (who knows where) recently that there may be two strains, one in the west which is less virulent, and one on the east coast that is more virulent. I know I should have saved that link.
Also, I bet none of these guys were able to get and weren’t treated with hydroxychloroquin. And I don’t trust the tests either
As far as I know, and one could ask freeper gas_dr , HCQ is being used in Florida to treat Covid-19. It’s quite effective if used early. There are other treatments available also.
Kudos to you for playing at the neighborhood bar each week. I used to love going to bars where bands played live music. Put your tip mug out just in case.

Odom said the Williamson County Elections Department remains diligent to keep the public and poll workers safe. If new information emerges, the county says it may re-evaluate that decision to possibly close the polling site.

Wow. Very sad. I’m sorry for your loss. It is strange that this would happen during the summer in Florida with the whole band catching it. Most curious.
