You are absolutely right and a GREAT idea MideaMeneMeneTekelUpharsin.
The only problem that i see are there are already other laws against crimes such as laws against looting and property damage, Battery, rape, graffiti, Destruction of federal and state property, appropriation of public land, etc etc etc... and it’s all being ignored...the cops just stand by and watch as 80 yr old men are being beaten....
this is a frigging TRAVESTY
One good thing about this new law is if you hit the pedal and mow a bunch of those tools down you would possibly not be charged with anything.

Post #38 got the point. You don’t write laws based on how you feel or what you believe others should think about it. You write laws that objectively make it clear what the transgression is. Going by feelings or whim is how the Supreme Court pulled out Roe Vs. Wade from emanations of penumbras. My comment was an example of one of the silly things some loony judge could torture out the text. My mistake was assuming folks would be clever enough to see the irony.
