The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Atlanta’s interim Police Chief Rodney Bryant was about to address the City Council on the unrest plaguing the city when a councilman informed Bryant:
I was just notified there was a young man who was just shot and killed at 377 Westchester Boulevard. Can you get a unit out there? He’s been on the ground and there’s no police who have come. He’s dead already, he’s on the ground and the residents have put a sheet over him and the police still haven’t arrived.
This incident isn’t the only sign that the wheels are coming off in Atlanta. From the same source:
On June 13, as angry protesters milled around the south Atlanta Wendy’s the day after Rayshard Brooks was shot in the parking lot by a cop — and hours before the restaurant was burned down — there was a wild shootout in the Edgewood neighborhood in east Atlanta. Five people were wounded and two were killed. Residents reported hearing perhaps 40 gunshots.

Earlier this month, the owners of a bar in the popular Edgewood Avenue nightlife district posted a photo online of the business’s window smashed by a bullet. They said they felt unsafe and were closing “until the city gets its #@&! together.” What caused this? Eight people were shot nearby in six days.
And there is this, regarding drive-by shootings:
Friday in south Atlanta, police found the body of 80-year-old Clarence Knox inside his home. Residents reported at least 20 shots the night before, and cops think he was the unintended victim of a drive-by shooting. And over the weekend there was this headline: “6 injured in 3 overnight drive-by shootings in Atlanta.” One of the victims is a 10-year-old boy.

During the 1990s one half of a million black people moved from The Great Lakes Region to Metro Atlanta. Many of those Black People were from Chicago. There are high schools in 12 county metro Atlanta which were say 85% White in 1970 and are now 85% Black. See Cobb County.

Agreed, but it seems pretty much one sided. The President is either playing 4D chess or Esper's and Milley's refusal to back Trump on using troops for law and order was the green light to destroy the country.
Don't try to preach to me about how this is not inherent in the race. Each and every "race" has certain social and psychological characteristics that are fairly self evident. With these ferals, it is this: You can take the African tribesmen from Africa, but you cannot take the tribalist psyche from the African. Just as there are "Bloods" and "Crips" and "posses" galore in each and every "hood", there are warring tribes throughout Africa. This is a problem everyone will have to deal with and it appears to me that the end game will be bloody.
Hmm. A perp fights two police and then fires a deadly weapon at one of them. The Police Chief resigns, the cop is fired and the DA charges the cop. The radicals demand it, and the local politicians give it to them
So, the cops started calling in sick, and the violence - predictably - increases.
Whenever the radical left runs something, it goes broke - violently.

Can you blame the cops? If it was me, I’d take the scenic route to the scene of the crime...and stop on the way to smell the flowers.

What a wonderful DIM/LIB/leftist-run city to tour! Just think you can see sights not usually seen...like a dead body just laying there. Hopefully, it won’t be you. However, that adds to the excitement of being in the big city...dodging bullets, being assaulted, experiencing an aggressive shake-down, fighting off feral losers. So many possibilities for fun. What a great city!

It was only a few days ago that the media was heaping laurels on the Atlanta Mayor for her leadership in this “protest” era. So much so that she’s on Biden’s short list for VP.
OTOH, take a look at the years before the American revolution (the brits called it a colonial civil war) as well as the years before the American Civil War...
There is infinitely more violence as part of open insurrection going on for the past decades as opposed the the decades just before the revolution and the civil war actually broke out...
For both the colonials and the residents of the north and the south there was still an ingrained belief in individual freedom and civility and today's insurrections would have long-since triggered the bloody conflicts to protect their freedoms...
Today's serfs have little sense of either freedom & liberty and civility... Like testosterone in what we refer to as men, these things have been bred out of the citizenry...
Bad things happen...Everyone stops and looks up...Maybe paws the ground...Maybe goes Baaa! Baaa!...Then smiling happily they return to a life of peaceful & blissful acceptance of those who rule them...
