I went boating with someone in the know. The reason why testing has gone crazy here is if you work for fed.gov, state/local government or the big corporations and test positive for COVID - it's a free two week paid vacation. Just wait on line and done.
We had only SIX deaths on Saturday. NINE the day before that... but we're still ruining our economy over it. If anyone is still falsely claims Florida has a substantial COVID problem, THIS LINK has everything you need to know.
Gov. DeSantis BETTER WAKE UP!!! NOW!!!
Shamdemic
I’m stealing that.
And if Fedzilla is paying hospitals for observation status WuFlu patients, that might explain the surge in non-ICU hospitalizations of younger, healthier patients...
Hospitals gotta make a buck somehow.
And the CDC itself has stated that a positive test for covid-19 doesn’t even necessarily mean you have or had the disease. Can’t remember where I saw the link to the graphic of that.
The test could be picking up antibodies from any of the coronaviruses that you may have come in contact with sometime in the past.
There is nothing real about any of this, as I have been saying since the beginning. Whatever is real is lost in the haze of manipulation and dishonesty.
SCAMdemic is right.
When you look at the state with county by county color coding on infections - the “Florida” case problem is really a south Florida problem, and from Tampa north not so much.
Isn’t this happening across most of the company?
A guy that we know merely had contact with someone who’d tested positive. So, his company automatically had him isolate, for two weeks, even though his (initial) test was negative.
Also, if their kid’s daycare has someone who tests positive...the parent/employee can claim they have to stay home to care for kid, while daycare employee isolates.
how would you falsify a positive COVID test? asking for a friend.
The Dems and their media have dropped the deaths and are going with the "rising" number of cases, but refusing to link that to the fact that more people are being tested...
My girlfriend works for a “big corporation” that everyone has heard of. They’ve been over-the-top PC for years and are taking the covid precautions to the point of absurdity.
If she happens to test positive (which only indicates she had some coronavirus sometime in the past) she gets two weeks off, fully paid, and it doesn’t affect her accrued vacation or PTO time.
I work for a big corporation too, but it’s far, far less PC. If any of us get it, we have to use our own PTO if we want to get paid for the time off. But the company, in their generosity, will allow us to “borrow against future PTO”, up to 120 hours worth, if we have no PTO available. How nice of them.
bkmk
Apparently all you need is to have had one of the several different corona viruses at some time in the past. The tests “may” show you as positive for covid-19.
In other words, the tests “will” show you as positive, because there’s more money to be made that way.
Shamdemic
Im stealing that.

I cannot figure out why Trump is not hammering this point home, and why he doesn’t come out more reminding the nation that hospitalizations are flat and deaths are way down! He needs to put the Fake News on defense, and address this!

No, they just subscribe to the notion that when you hire someone today you in effect adopt them.
this is SO pathetic! It’s like DeSantis (and Abbott even) are drinking the Kool Aid! They are ruining our nation and are blind to it.
Shamdemic,
K.
But “muh” cases! Chicom flu terrorists lie by omission when they try to scare the bejeebus out of everybody.
now, people don't typically go for testing without at least some concern that they have at least come into contact, but that's just not my experience with COVID testing.
false positives are off the charts. just get tested.
