The COVID-19 virus is remaking society in ways both large and small. Did we all shake our last hand in March, for example? How many people, now that their employers have them working from home, will be willing to endure the daily grind of a commute when theyve seen how life is like away from the cubicle farm? Also, will we ever again be willing to join a long, tightly packed line or bunch up in front of a TSA security checkpoint? Lets not forget, as well, the TSA security screening process, one in which you and your luggage may end up being physically searched by TSA security officers (gloved though they may be). Indeed, COVID-19 is shaping up to be the catalyst which provokes a sea change in how TSA will operate in the future. Heres why:
The New Security Checkpoint
One such change to how TSA will operate is that we will soon be going through security checkpoints in which well have been examined well before we reach the checkpoints entrance, including for identity and any red flags posted by security agencies. These remote identification systems are powered by artificial intelligence, or AI, and their accuracy and reliability is improving with each passing day. So, imagine being anywhere from 30 feet to 30 yards away from a TSA security checkpoint and having your identity and travel itinerary verified as you walk towards it.
TSA is starting to reduce security lane touch points, as theyre called, by introducing a raft of new screening devices, most especially including passive terahertz standoff body detection technology...
Democrat’s future version of TSA facial recognition software:
“If you look too white, you ain’t getting on that flight!”
“Though no one would ever claim with a straight face that the COVID-19 pandemic is any sort of welcome occurrence its also necessary for us to try to find the bright side of things if only to keep ourselves from becoming too depressed. For TSA, which has been facing huge declines in daily passenger screening numbers because of the coronavirus, the bright side is that the pandemic has freed it to experiment with a myriad of new security technologies. “
I feel safer already.
LOL, that’s fantastic.
I did exactly that on a cross country flight, east to west, just before the pandemic hit. I had the window and the two passengers to my right could not hide their disgust. One of them started mumbling stuff about Trump after he saw my hat. But to my surprise one of the flight attendants (female) who came by to serve snacks saw my hat and was delighted.. gave me a big smile and a thumbs up ! That was great. The passengers to my right were looking in disbelief.
Just noticed that his shade is a mask.. lol. I didn’t have a mask obviously.
Saw a post here recently about the opposite happening with a male flight attendant being inconsiderate/rude throughout the flight on Southwest.
If the virus that the ChiComs released to rest of the world were really as dangerous as many (with vested interest) say it is and which is directly responsible for the economic disaster the U.S. has suffered, then the United States (and other countries) should be working toward serious payback to the Demonicrats’ BFF, the ChiCom regime.
Yes. Bottom line, China caused 100k American deaths. I don't understand why so few people ever mention that. Except that if they did, the next logical comment would be, as you say, serious payback. Extremely serious.
I thought you said you didn't understand?
If we officially recognized that fact we'd be in a shootin' war with a nuclear power.
Symmetric nuclear war is a bad idea.
We can punish them by asymmetric means, devastate their economy. not just short term, like the WuFlu, but deeply and systemically, not merely destroy today's economy but any hope for a future economy. We can isolate them diplomatically, and roll back their attempt at world hegemony, and we can systematically and, plausibly deniably, nonviolently cut their supply lines from any country that suffered because of WuFlu.
We can prove to the much oppressed Chinese people that an atheist communist government simply can't have a 'mandate from heaven'.
We can end not just Xi's reign, but the entire communist, totalitarian system!
It will take a bit longer than a 90 min nuclear war, but...
