I don’t get it either Parler is good or not. Which is it????? A previous thread indicated stay away. Now Hannity joins.

Some people like it, some people don’t.... Nothing is ever perfect.
Fixing the widely used social media apps is the goal. Leaving to a smaller site that will just become known as the conservative alternative doesn’t work when you want to reach the general public. This is a sign of failure.
Now is the BEST time to go and get all of the democrat user names from Twitter and register them on Parlor.
I joined Parler last week and consider it fairly easy to use.
This is just what conservatives need to do. We are a group, we have some mighty numbers. We need to start our own social media groups.
We don’t have to remain under their control. Keep it up...join Parler. I don’t even mind if liberals join. Just get the hell away from Twitter and Facebook.
In fact, this is just such a reason why we have a successful group like Freerepublic.

I never joined Twitter, have permanently abandoned FaceBook.
Parler is uncensored (individuals can “ban” anyone who trolls or is annoying), honest, straightforward, 99.9% Conservative.
Signing in is a pain, but I’m hoping they’ll provide a solution to that.
I highly recommend Parler.
I will still use twitter because I like it for breaking news and alerts.
But if you want to have a conversation PARLER is SO much better.. that’s my experience anyway.

We are both at a point in our lives where we just don’t care about social media and being a participant. If I cannot get a picture via email or someway else, I just do not need to see it. My life will go on.

I’ve joined and it’s in its infancy. Expect problems as it struggles to support the surge in traffic... much like FR did at times in the past. But I predict they’ll overcome and it will do well.
