My cukes are just begining to set fruit. We had some rather chilly evenings in the 50’s and sometimes that effects fruit set.
I’m sure they’ll catch up!
I got a birdhouse from a friend and I painted it a shocking blue and hung it in the garden just for decor.
This morning, Little Jenny Wren was chattering at me while I was weeding. I was too close to HER house! I moved back and watched her bring twigs and dry grass to build her nest.
Those little Wrens are fearless and a force to be reckoned with! :)

What a great garden. I like how you have seating in it. I have my pot set up so I can enjoying them while sitting on my porch having my tea, lunch, dinner, random people watching...

That’s a great spread for tomato production! I have some cherry-types ripening, but not quite there yet.
So, I’m assuming these were from tomatoes that weren’t washed down the hill? ;)

Haha. 😄 yes the grape type that mature in ~50 days... Planted 1 May, some were frosted to death, a few harder ones came back... Still upset that I can't get corn to work in my area - too many thieving critters...

How beautiful!
What are those plants called that have the purple flowers?
We have some with pink flowers around our yard, but never found out the name of them.
Thank you.

A friend of mine got a software program for his phone. It ID’s plants, gives details, how to grow, where, how to kill (if weed), etc. Amazing! I had him prove it’s ability by identifying lots of wild plants. Didn’t miss a one. Like facial identification software I guess. It identified one that I didn’t know, that has lots of positive points. Amazing how it just appeared (and I didn’t pull it for a bad weed)...birds must have brought it in.
