The Left Craps Out
American Thinker ^ | June 26, 2020 | J.R. Dunn

Posted on 06/27/2020 2:57:25 AM PDT by yldstrk

But the Left assessed their opponent poorly. Instead of exploding, the President behaved like the leader of a federal republic, demanding that the states and cities fulfill their responsibilities to the citizenry while assuring the public that he was ready to move if necessary. The cities in which Antifa has run wild – Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis – are all hyperliberal environments to which the President owes nothing and whose governments have uniformly displayed contempt for Trump personally along with sympathy for the insurgents. This left the President with absolutely no reason to intervene. To paraphrase a previous statesman who confronted similar problems – downtown Seattle is not worth the bones of single National Guardsman.

will respond when the time is right.

Perhaps that will be right after they come after you, your home, and your businesses.

Or, maybe not. The "time" might still not be "right."

“Get out...while the getting is good. Like the jews who saw the handwriting on the wall...”

Exactly. Migrate to a conservative state to help offset the influence of any West Coast liberal slime that have already escaped the city/state they helped destroy.

Trump should send out a tweet. General Milley, with Antifa and BLM destroying minority owned businesses and running riot, what does your oath of office require you to do? What, in your view, does my oath of office require me to do. You are hereby ordered to tweet your response.

The FUDJT that follows should then be responded to by marines escorting Milley, stripped of rank and title to the busstop outside the Pentagon with his box of personal stuff.

I just returned to Chicago to put up my house for sale. My neighborhood is “extremist” liberal. The citizens get what they vote for, unfortunately. I don’t expect the 82nd Airborne to parachute in here to rescue me from local bred Marxist Stupidly. That is why I have to get the heck out of here. The voters are brainwashed and will not learn.

It is terrible for the disabled. And what business owner here in Chicago is stupid enough to reinvest here if the dumb####k leadership refuses to protect the business from future looting?

If you live in one of these liberal cesspools, you’re outflanked. The ballot box is your weapon and if the demographics are against you, you have to leave. Making your neighbors feel the pain of their political choices is the answer. If they choose to keep voting in the people that do this to them, they’re getting what they deserve. It’s clear the Democrats have been taken over by the Marxist wing and the moderates helped that happen. If President Trump were to protect the moderates from their actions, they will continue to support the very people who are now making their lives uncomfortable. Republicans in these areas are unfortunate casualties but what’s happening is a real-life demonstration of Einstein’s definition of insanity.

"Yeah, maybe go to "real America" somewhere, like Virgina! Oh, wait.
I know - Michigan! Oops, no.
How about the great state of Georgia! Ehhh, maybe not."

You can offer those states as suggestions...or you could just have Googled "conservative states" and come up with a couple of lists. It really wasn't difficult.

The internet...it's a wonderful thing..

Always remember, the goal-—the SINGLE OBJECTIVE-—of these riots, especially in D.C.-—was a photo op with bodies on the White House lawn.

That was their “get Drumpf.”

My state is a swing state, so it is a fight. I do not want the Feds butting in on anything, we will handle all problems ourselves. Most Red states feel the same way. The Blue states want complete control over who they see as their serfs.

If you live in a Blue Wall state move out soon, time is not on your side.

liberal fascists
>>>>>>>>>>>>
In the sense of classical liberalism that is the oxymoron of the day. They are just marxists.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

**************************************

Some are Marxists ( the anarchists and some BLM Trotskyites and Marxists))

But genuine historical analysis concludes that in their majority , they are liberal fascists. ( Jonah Goldberg wrote an academic , footnoted, thioroughly researched history book about it:” Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning.)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_Fascism

but here is the short version:

“Barack Obama: The Quintessential Liberal Fascist”

And there are millions of leftist lawyers and hundreds of leftist judges on the Soros payroll who will file injunctions the second a leak gets out that POTUS will be using federal sources to do what you want.
Look at how they keep fighting the border wall even after SCOTUS has ruled as CIC he can reroute defense spending.
Leftists excel at lawfare.

POTUS has no place interfering in what is a local and state matter. This is vastly different than Ike sending the 101st Airborne to enforce school integration. That was an action to enforce a SCOTUS ruling.
There is no SCOTUS ruling concerning the BLM/antifa/useful idiots that are causing the problems.

As much as I would like to see Airborne and USMC units cracking heads and throwing those jackasses in a military prison I realize President Trump is doing the right thing.

"Craps out" is an imperfect metaphor.

In the game of Craps, "crapping out" means throwing a 2, 3, or 12 after making your point. The only thing you lose is your ante (your Pass bet and odds on it). The rest of your table investments remain in place.

In the political case, the Left still have their thugs in the Blue cities, they still have their agitators surrounding the monuments, they still have their shills in the media gaslighting the nation, they still have their useful idiots in Congress passing go-nowhere bills.

The Left may have "crapped out" on the George Floyd play, but they haven't "seven outed" on control of the dice.

I’m with you. Like 99% of the people here, my ancestors also came from halfway around the world (or close to halfway), and back then they didn’t have facebook, zoom, or other crap. Not even telephones in many cases. Maybe a letter after a few weeks - assuming their relatives in the ‘old country’ were still alive.

So I think moving a few miles into the ‘burbs’ is not an unreasonable thing to do. But, then again, 90% of the people here also thinks that our economy revolves around bars being open - so who knows.
