I feel the same way. The thing is, each state is allowed to operate individually, isn’t it? This is Minnesota, so I imagine with “state” laws, they can go off the rails but federal law would be different. I could be way off base here.

I see a few ways we can retrieve lost ground:
1. Constitutional conservatives recapture K-12 and all university education and re-Instill pride in Western Civilization and the USA. That will take two or three generations.
2. Ugly civil war.
3. World War III which ends with the re-unification of the country that we enjoyed for 20 years after WW II.
4. Congressional Republicans start vigorously denouncing marxists and communism; simultaneously they start extolling the wonders of the American Constitution and our way of life and the benefits that Western Civilization has bestowed on all of us.

Numbers 1 and 4 are laughable.
