Video has emerged showing a large group of people causing a late-night disturbance in Brooklyn by shooting dozens of fireworks into the sky, amid a citywide crackdown on the illegal explosives. Witness Christopher Maslanka was driving through Crown Heights on June 16 when a 'mob of 50 to 60 people' emerged and began setting fireworks alight in the middle of the road. Maslanka captured the incident on video which showed the crowd marching down the street while firing off multiple Roman candles into the air in an elaborate display lasting about two minutes long.

I’m thinking...a few open windows on the 20th floor of a couple surrounding buildings, a couple dozen bricks raining down on the fireworks-shooters...
Problem solved.
Every now and then somebody pops off a bunch in our very rural town.
I have seen one person complain.
The rest of us go out and enjoy it.
Some of the rockets are quite large.
Isn’t it the city that never sleeps?
Everyone should be aware... fireworks are cover for gunfire.
Venezuela is here, thank you Democrats and absent parents who are allowing their millennial children to wreak havoc without consequence. Perhaps when they get ten year jail terms for their party out the parents will wake up.
So, if you lived in an urban canyon, and had to get up to go to work, you would not mind a few dozen 160 DB rockets exploding outside your windows at 3 AM?

She thinks all sides in this crazy world will circle back around and soon be singing Kumbaya. And COVID-19 will dissipate, leaving nothing more than a bad taste for oppressive government in everyone’s mouth..and a few more gravestones than usual.
We had that conversation last night. I’m officially considering giving up this morning.
I watched the video and laughed out loud. If these kids lived in the country they could do this anytime they want.
And not one dime of financial aid from Washington DC. They crapped their bed, now let them lie in it for a good long time. The innocent people caught up in this; I feel sorry for them. But such is the nature of conflict.
Blue city, blue state, blue politicians...blm....anarchy...

It’s looking more and more like that everyday. Our leaders are not leading. They are not upholding their oaths. When the government fails, the people will fill the vacuum. The instinct to protect themselves, their family and their property is strong in most people.
I got a fortune cookie once that read, “Beware the wrath of the quiet man.” The normal citizens have been mostly quiet. When they are not quiet, the people on the other end will wish they never started this. As is repeated on FR many times, when CW2 comes, it won’t be nice like the last one.

I was in a crown heights park last week at around 10pm.
there were definitely a lot of fireworks.
