I recently conducted my own experiment with the terms "communism" and "capitalism," and Google's auto-complete recommendations were overwhelmingly in favor of communism ( http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3858527/posts ) over capitalism. I know that most freepers need no convincing that Google is biased, and we may be tilting at windmills when we try to convince "the unlearned" about the insidious, omnipresent bias against conservatism. But I don't think it's ever time to quit teaching.

Google/YouTube, Microsoft, Facebook, etc all
used their technology to subvert the Second Amendment. People who failed to apply significant leverage in those cases falsely believed the bias would be contained or measured. No one at this point has any reason to believe they wouldnt put a thumb on the scale in every other domain of interest. Moving to companies that respect you can be difficult, inconvenient, and even cost you financially. But its the most effective way to make your voice heard.
