Here’s the problem that they know about but are banking on the “courts” to “correct”; which will not happen.
If the State invokes mail only voting, the USPS is a FEDERAL agency subject to the purview and authority of the President.
The USPS is a Constitutionally mandated agency under the Executive Branch.
If the States insist on mail-in votes, POTUS can then federalize the ballot distribution, return, validation and counting to ensure a fair (and clean) election.
Postal Inspectors (some of whom carry weapons) will become local elections officials.
Trump will trot this out at the right time if the “mail-in” fervor gets moving.
There is not much sentiment for it right now among the halls of power in the Party.

I figured that with good guys now number 1 and 2 in the USPS, Trump will somehow arrange things the right way. I was thinking that the USPS could say (and they alreayd have) that mail in voting is not secure.

Juxtapose against the current news with Communist agitators (Aunt Teefa) and demographic pandering (NASCAR & BLM for example), there seems to be an undercurrent...to me.
The face of it is that the USA is inherently oppressive to marginal groups.

It attempts to make some form of “hard” communism appealing to the people (millennial democrat voters).
One that says, “Maybe if we had a commie in office for a term, all this societal upset will be taken care of and we can just go on with our everyday lives.”
It begins to make Bernie seem the most viable candidate and the most appealing to the demographic of focus, millennials.
