A new mask every time a health professional enters a hospital room would make for an insane number of masks. That’s a protocol designed for operating room and other such environments. Really I would think needs to be controlled by separate wards or buildings if they release a more severe virus this fall.

If the concern were that great for transmission from one patient to another, then I would think a whole new Tyvek suit would be in order for each room entry.

I’m not sure what your saying but regulations are that masks be changed between patients or if they get wet. Fact.
Also curious why CDC removed this from website. Go look up any older article (older than covid19) and you’ll see. But the links to CDC are broken. Any nurse on here can verify this info. Same with dental offices. You change masks between patients. Go to a dentist office and observe or ask. And yes, they go through a lot.
