I’m not sure what your saying but regulations are that masks be changed between patients or if they get wet. Fact.
Also curious why CDC removed this from website. Go look up any older article (older than covid19) and you’ll see. But the links to CDC are broken. Any nurse on here can verify this info. Same with dental offices. You change masks between patients. Go to a dentist office and observe or ask. And yes, they go through a lot.

Masks in such environments were historically used to keep the professional from infecting those with especially high vulnerability such as during operations.

Not when all professionals were wearing PPE for all patient interactions.

In the latter situation, such changes represent just an insane number of changes where, again, if so needed, whole, seal uniforms would be called for both wearing and changing.

In short, the use of PPE has changed significantly since such standards.
