If anyone believes this is over they haven't been paying attention for the last 20 years.

It doesn't matter it was a mistake. This is still a 'teachable moment' for White people to wallow in their ingrained and intractable racism.

I have the exact opposite impression. I think this incident has set race relations back at least 60 years.

Think about it ...

Every employer and business owner has a vested interest in keeping black people as far away from them as possible. It's a rational defense mechanism, for sure. Who in their right mind would put themselves in a position where an innocuous thing in your business establishment like a pull cord with a loop tied into the end of it suddenly becomes the subject of a Federal investigation?

No, thanks.

Enjoy your destroyed credibility, NASCAR -- and that goes for all of you: Bubba Wallace, Richard Petty, and every driver and company official who issued a virtue-signaling public statement over this.

Oh -- and Juicy Smellitt wants his noose back, too.
