The driver of a minivan was arrested after witnesses captured video of the van speeding on a Southern California freeway with a motorcycle stuck in its front end.

The 25yo driver, who crashed and bailed, was arrested when he tried to report the van stolen

it’s very real. I’m amazed the front tire of the bike stayed so straight, and didn’t fold under and flip the van right on the freeway.\

The bike rider was thrown, he’s alive but hospitalized.

I was sure the motorcyclist was dead when I saw the photo, glad to hear he was “only” injured.

We saw something similar when walking our dogs in the park: A similar looking van hit a bicyclist while entering the freeway, dragged the bicycle AND cyclist down the onramp and out onto the freeway before the cyclist was able to break free. I heard later he survived but lost his leg. Van driver drove off and was never caught.

This is why I worry every time my husband and son take out their motorcycles.

I tell them, I’m not worried so much about them, it’s the other drivers I worry about.
