When I was a kid there was a Hagar The Horrible comic strip with Hagar and Lucky Eddie walking through Stonehenge and the dialogue went something like this:

Lucky Eddie: What are these big stones here for?
Hagar: People put them here thousands of years ago so that nobody would ever forget them.
Lucky Eddie: Who put them here?
Hagar: Nobody knows

I loved that comic strip...and Born Loser and Tank McNamara. Tank’s reporting from “Carjackistan” stayed with me and I am reminded of it every time I see anything to do with the Olympic Games.
