There are many examples of where the police do wrong.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/apr/07/south-carolina-police-officer-murder-charge
In this case, a pre-existing heart condition (not reasonably known by the cop), drugs, a large man that is resisting arrest, all factor into a cop using a restraint that while it looks brutal is also authorized by his department.
That said, IMHO these cops will now get thrown under the bus not for what they did, but because of the general outrage and mood that has been created by other incidents.
The stage is set, with race baiting politicians (there are folks in the highest levels of US government stirring the pot because they politically benefit), chiefs of police, governors, mayors, that all want to show they did something and are taking a “stand against racism” (whatever that means). The general public (large percentage) at this point does have a perception that their is a problem, not just some anarchist, but the average Joe.
Facts, history, science... none of that matters in America anymore. We create our own facts, our own science where we add in constants that have no explanation to show Global Warming is real, our own history (rewrite it). Look at Corona virus. It becomes political and then goes stupid Likewise, these cops will get burned at the stake not based on facts, but because that’s the general mood of society.
It’s ironic how the people that like to use the term “lynching” as a pejorative describing what the cops did are the ones demanding exactly that.
Was the cop contributory to the death? He might have been through lack of emergency observation, but that doesnt mean he killed him. No evidence he did. Just the color of their skin.
The public needs to be educated about this.
Correlation is not causality.
I remember the outcry over the shooting of Oscar Grant at the Oakland BART Fruitvale Station on New Year's Day 2009.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Oscar_Grant
Initial charges against the police office included second-degree murder, conviction ended up involuntary manslaughter.
There was a lot of outcry and civil disturbance over this at the time, yet the memory of it seems to have fizzled out.
Oh yes, Grant was resisting arrest, and the officers restraining him knelt on his neck also.
Funny that we aren't hearing about this.
Democrats are literal Nazis
Didn’t he have meth in his system as well? All this is ignored, and where do they get “racism”? Right away the race hustlers take over, claim he was killed because of racism yet offer zero proof of this. Chauvin is married to an Asian, he was working with an Asian and black cop, where is the racism? And Republicans are too scared sh*tless to say anything, they just sit back while the Rat politicians take over and push this racism crap like this AOC bitch today claiming Trumps rally last night was about white supremacy and racism. Where’s the Republicans in Congress demanding she be censured? This is flat out slander. I wrote on her Facebook page that she sucks donkey d*ck. I mean hey, if she wants to slander people without a shred of evidence, then I can do it too.
“He was the one wandering around cluelessly. Chunky Asian guy.”
Back up that statement or mea culpa and learn a valuable lesson.
I want so bad to write back to that idiot and tell him where he can shove his “lynching” accusation but I’m banned from Twitter like almost all conservatives. It really ticks me off how they can spew this crap completely unchallenged. I really hope Barr does something about that company.
Why doesn’t he at least grow a mustache/beard?
I was raised/worked in one of the biggest population centers in the U.S. Never again will I subject myself to everything associated with big cities. I had reached a point where I very much disliked everything about them. ☺
Notice also the Lynch Mob Tradition of the Democrat Party totally ingrained in her very nature. She acted as judge and jury, accusing the man of being a Murderer without any trial, and declared him guilty and unworthy of any rights what-so-ever. Notice how she tried to rile up a mob? If she was part of a large mob who thinks just like she does, they would have gotten a rope, and lynched this man. It seems old habits are just too hard to break.
“If Chauvin is acquitted the city will burn.”

Sounds like this annoying Karen wants to lynch Keung, who is black.
Great article on that and more:

Wow! That never occurred to me but you are 100% spot on! Holy cow, that’s exactly what is going on there isn’t it, it’s the lynch mentality. Daammit I wish I wasn’t banned on Twitter, I would love to write that on her account.
“Funny that we aren’t hearing about this.”
I don’t think so. Lies can be the new truth when it has an agenda tied to it. And when it is being accomplished. And not telling the whole story on purpose to hide the truth is a lie, not an oversight.

Losing an Atlanta, a San Fransicko, a Newark or a Minneapolis would not be much of a loss to most of the country. The problem is that the denizens of those locales will relocate to places where decent folks try to live and befoul them.
