This was a perfect outcome if you ask me.

Just think of all the negative scenarios that didn’t unfold.

There could have been riots, looting and arson long into the night.
People could have been badly hurt or killed.
BLM and Antifa could have instigated another police brutality allegation.
The event could have been cancelled or interrupted.
President Trump could have been whisked away by secrets service.
POTUS could have given a poor performance (unlikely, I know).
Trump supporters could have been provoked to violence.

Against all odds, none of those things happened and we are talking about attendance. The big story is that Trump’s rally was only “super amazing“ rather than “super duper amazing“.

Meanwhile, the whole nation got to witness tens of thousands of peaceful, well-behaved Trump supporters in stark contrast with the lawless brutality and destruction displayed by anti-Trump factions in recent weeks.

I think President Trump got his point across perfectly.

I am so relieved and happy - this icebreaker rally went so well that all anyone is talking about is whether Trump got 19,000 or 15,000 attendees.

Winning.

Well said. I turn off the tv as soon as a rally, news conference, round table etc is over. I do not care about the opinions of anyone on TV. They may not have even watched the entirety anyway. Some members of the White House press corps appear not to even listen to previous answers during press conferences.Talking points is what they focus on.

The rally was terrific. I look forward to many more.
