As for wearing a mask hiking in the Sandia's - It's both hot and you're breathing heavily, and you're naturally isolated from the person in front and back (if too close you'd trip over each other, for gosh sakes!!).
People have died wearing COVID-19 masks when exercising.

Somebody needs to go check those 100% full beds. Im doubting that statement.
It's correct in my case because I like to breathe when I exercise - but HEY!! Please, feel free to take another hike.
Losing your bidness cause of this skank?
Drop off a skunk, possum, armadillo, cayotte, hell, any damned stinky wild critter on her property
Either that or an American made dump truck full of chicken shit on her land
Are the ICUs full in NM?
This article says that is the case in FL:

Totalitarianism at its finest. NM doesnt even have half the total deaths NJ has had in one day. Keep voting for these tyrants.
Ive been doing COVID full time since February.
I have mixed feelings about the restrictions. Id like to hear from the antis (most people here) about how much of a price youre willing to pay to loosen, AND what you think the political consequences of an explosion of new cases (if it happens) for the Fall and the election.
I have said here before that no one knows with certainty what will happen with loosening, and I stand by that. I dont believe the risk of significant worsening is >50%, but I also dont think its <20%.

And in 2 weeks she’ll put it off for another 2 weeks.
But rioting, looting, assaulting innocent people is still a go in Albuquerque!
Sounds like another Democratic governor who screwed things up. If the story is true she let all her hospitals get filled up so people won’t get the care they needed. If the stories wrong it means she gave out wrong information and is scaring the people in her state. In either case clearly she is screwing up the covid response 20.
Meanwhile in Virginia while our governor is way too harsh on us we’ve managed to mostly open up and still cut our cases in half. Although we’re still killing way too many seniors in nursing homes, which seems like the easiest thing for a good Governor to protect against
Weeks ago there were stories leaking out that our ICUs were empty. The Governor, in cahoots with the medical industry, decided to fill them with cases from the Navajo Reservation.
For those who may not know, the Navajo Reservations stretches across three states - New Mexico, Arizona and Utah.
One of our local talk radio guys started posting tracking information of incoming medical flights from Arizona, all the while the hospitals and the government were denying they were flying anyone in. There were even news reports in Arizona about the medical flights. When caught in the lie, they started to drive out-of-staters into New Mexico and THEN put them on Med flights to Albuquerque. In short order we filled up our ICU beds.
Now the cases in southern New Mexico are picking up (mostly in a prison down there) and there is nowhere for them to go.
The whole thing is FUBAR.
