I think the blacks can knock down all the statues they want and even get a few laws passed, but a few years downstream their place in our society and economy will not have changed.
Unless they change themselves from within.
The GOP is worthless and many Conservatives go to work and live a normal life as opposed to scum who are leaches, destroyers and compensated by the leftist cabal.
Nailed it.
When the Mobile, Al. local government removed a Confederate statue in the dark of night the only opposition statement the local press could get was from a representative from the Sons on Confederate Veterans....who would only speak anonymously.
No, they are not. The people who toppled them are responsible for toppling them. Conservatives, as always, are slow to act.
No. NAME NAMES and make them defend their position.
Then let’s all put our names out there because we are ALL OF US not taking to the streets and protecting statues and confronting blm/antifa (except for Italians around a few Columbus Statues and folks at the Alamo)
This is all going on Democrat states / cities. This is a states issue..
I took it as the author was pointing his finger at me. So am I to lock and load and stand between the mobs and these statues because that’s the only way ‘We The People’ can make a difference. Our Government isn’t going to stop this madness.
I had some sport with lefty nincompoops the other day by positing the question: Should the statue of Emil Faber be torn down?
Their default was “yes”.
Faber is best known for Faber College, from the movie “Animal House.”
The motto on his pedestal is “Knowledge is Good”.
Perhaps that’s fair to use as a standard for bravery, but it’s not the standard he’s using. He says it’s “The so-called conservatives who have been coddling mindless calls to destroy public art”, which I took to mean conservative officials publicly selling-out to the mob about taking the statues down.
Is this A-hole writing this from jail? Or is he calling everyone else a coward from his basement.
You are right. As for me I had the chance to tell several thousand people what I thought but it just didn’t seem like the right time :-)
I have run into 3 BLM protests in Brooklyn. I was alone or with one or two other guys each time. One time a group of them asked why we weren’t matching and I said it’s not my concern.
Because saying I think you are a bunch of punk terrorists who need to find a job might have gone down bad when they have 2000 friends 20 feet away :-)
Even five-on-three I would let my opinion known. You have a Fighting Chance. Anything after that you’re just going to get clobbered.
Sadly, plenty of people, including some here, still can’t see what’s happening.
Not doing the math can be the difference between brave and stupid! :-)
And that one was an easy equation!! :)
We are cowards. It is time that we need to fight the Anti Americans who are trying to rewrite history. We need to tell them that we had enough...
