The Prayer of Women. To God the Creator of all men your daughters need your help; let the guardian angels of women to earth may you send. Women are asking the men protect us we are your women folk stand up and strongly defend. We are not safe outside our home; women we can no longer walk as free spirited to this there has been a rend. Our rights as American women we will never bend . We will hold onto our sisters hand we will find the way to help start a new trend . We stand with President Trump; he will find the way to cause this all to end. This freedom we teach to our daughters, this message we send. God created women to keep the life blood of men.
amen. I stand in agreement.
Exo 15:3 The LORD is a warrior; Yahweh is His name!
Isa_13:3 I, the LORD, have dedicated these soldiers for this task. Yes, I have called mighty warriors to express My anger, and they will rejoice when I am exalted.”
Psa 52:7 “Look what happens to mighty warriors who do not trust in God. They trust their wealth instead and grow more and more bold in their wickedness.”
The word and concept of warrior always get my attention. Not a popular word these days.
Psa 78:65 Then the Lord rose up as though waking from sleep, like a warrior aroused from a drunken stupor.
Psalms 78:65
Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep,.... He seemed to be asleep, while he suffered the ark to be taken, and the Israelites to be slain; and he may be said to awake when he exerted his power in smiting the Philistines, and causing their idol to fall before his ark; see Psa_7:6,
and like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine; who having taken a free draught of generous wine, not to excess, goes forth with great courage and cheerfulness to meet his adversary, shouting as he goes, being sure of victory; which must be applied to God with decency, consistent with the glory of his majesty, and the perfections of his nature; and seems designed to express his power and readiness to help his people, and avenge himself on his enemies; see Isa_42:13.
Beer and wine was involved?
The psalmist’s opinion or analogy, the LORD is not a man that he should... get drunk.
Not every scripture attributes to GOD, but man’s commentary.
Hence, content, context and condition applies to understanding.
I still think beer and wine is involved. At least for us.
A lot of the American revolution began at the local pub. Warriors gather there, we ignore the drunks.
“Not every scripture attributes to GOD, but mans commentary.
Hence, content, context and condition applies to understanding.”
You have stated clearly my “pet peeve”. Context and condition is critical for understanding Scripture. It is most often ignored.
