A protest is planned at 4 p.m. in Gonzalez, TX, the seat of Texas Independence. It is scheduled to take place downtown where there is a Texas Heroes section. Wanted to let folks know and sorry about the short notice.

I have lost several jobs as a public school teacher due to conservative views. Where were you when that happened to stand up for me? You stepped on the wrong toes. Now, I have to make some money to pay the bills. I don't get all of the government assistance these people apparently get allowing them time to protest. So, vent on someone else.

What is strange is that guys who faced each other on the field of battle, in general , respected each other. There were differences of opinion at one time or the other. But these were the exceptions rather than the rule. It was not until the age of enlightenment or the age of political correctness [whichever term you prefer] appeared on the scene. The words “Trump” and “Confederate” were bad and had to go. From the Age of Enlightenment emerged a group who anointed themselves themselves "Patriots". Their vocabulary consisted of;"Patriot", traitor", and "confederate". They being patriots, confederates were traitors.
There wisdom as well as their intelligence is infinite. Both exceed the wisdom and intelligence of Almighty God. In their infinite wisdom they fail to see or understand: That the Congress of the United States of America extended to the Confederate War Dead the same rights and Privileges that the Union War Dead enjoyed. That the descendants of the men who faced each other on the field of battle respected each other. This respect has lasted through the ages until after the Viet Nam War era until the "Age of Enlightenment , a/k/a, The Age of Political Correctness.That it is the Stars ans Stripes that the haters of America. a/k/a, traitors burn. Not the Stars and Bars.
