Literally says last week that a taser is considered as a deadly weapon under Georgia law

I think Georgia is in for some hard times because of the spineless nature of Atlanta’s mayor, police chief, and DA. The deceased miscreant already had several charges against him, assaulted a police officer, stole his weapon, and therefore represented a very real danger to the officer. He could have tazed him and grabbed his pistol or something else potentially fatal to the officer. No one told him to resist arrest. No one told him to get drunk and block access to a public area. He could have just pulled over in a deserted area and slept it off. Now Atlanta and probably more cities in Georgia will pay the price—increased crime and potential injury/death to citizens—for his stupidity AND that of the above named officials. What a collection of nincompoops!
More criminal government.

Both the GBI and the second cop’s defense attorney have essentially called the D.A. a liar.
D.A. claimed the GBI worked with him in bringing 11 charges, including murder, against the 1st cop
GBI released statement saying Nope, our investigation is independent, it isn’t finished yet, nothing’s been turned over to the D.A., and his presser announcing murder, etc, charges, caught GBI totally by surprise.
D.A. claimed in presser the 2nd officer has agreed to testify for the state against the 1st officer. Defense attorney says 2nd officer is not testifying *against* anyone; he’s merely *cooperating* wrt questions about his own actions.
This, plus other things I’ve read, suggests the D.A. is dirty.
