For me wearing a mask is a sign of respect. It communicates more than words.
Like wearing a suit to an interview. It doesn’t mean you can do the job any better, it shows those you are meeting with that you respect their time.
Im really surprised to see so many “old conservatives” reject this notion.
I’ve put on a mask for two (and only two) reasons:
1) A sign posted on the door of a private business politely asked me to.
2) It’s a stupid decision made in a corporate HQ or the Governor’s Office, and I did not want to take my anger out on some poor nine-dollar-an-hour store clerk.
For me wearing a mask is a sign of gullibility. The Emperor has no clothes.
