Rope??? No one carries a pocket knife? If the cops are tired of the blue state treatment, they should quit and move to Red States.

It's kind of hard to cut the rope when you are inside and the door handles are tied shut from the outside. :)

I’ve never seen a door that couldn’t be opened enough to fit a knife blade through a slit when tied with rope. The other thing that can be done is to remove the hinges from the inside.
