AOC makes a decent living as a Congresscritter. If she loses she will become rich beyond her wildest dreams as a professional complainer, a female Al Sharpton.
She will make mega bucks with her foolishness on CNN and MSNBC if she leaves Congress.
Ocasio Cortez represents a hip totalitarianism. Anything to get rid of her. Caruso-Cabrera is a standard issue liberal, but getting back to old fashioned democrat graft would be a sorely welcome turn away from ideological insanity. Probably won’t happen.

Yea, the three challengers would have been smart to decide which one to get behind and flood the district. Instead, it will be greatly diluted and she wins handily.
That happened in my town. The mayor election is an open election. There were four candidates, three democrats including the incumbent and one Republican.
The Republican won but around 25 votes because the democrats diluted the vote.
He’s the best mayor the town has ever had. He won reelection by over 1000 votes.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the fact that she went from bartender to the U. S. Congress. That is the way our founding fathers intended it. Citizen to legislator then quickly back to citizen. Thus two year terms in the house. The problem is the direction she went after she got elected. At least with her we had one less lawyer in congress.

The turnout is usually very low, often only 15% to 20% of registered voters.
That means a well organized campaign can easily defeat a more popular candidate with a mediocre organization.
