[In October 2001, when Lane was 18, he was charged with two counts of obstructing legal process, damaging property, unlawful assembly, and disorderly conduct. He was convicted of one count of obstructing legal process and one charge of damaging property.

Almost six years later, in March 2007, Lane faced misdemeanor charges of hosting a noisy party or gathering and disorderly conduct. He was found guilty of the noisy-gathering charge.]

Compared to Floyd he was a saint. Also note that he was the rookie who questioned the actions of veteran officer Derek Chauvin. He should not have been charged.

Maybe you’re right and he shouldn’t have been charged. But I don’t think I’m going out on a limb here by saying that a 37 year-old with even a benign criminal record really has no business getting hired as a police officer.

Asked 2x should we roll him over. Expressed concern of excitement delirium. held legs to prevent kicking. Jumped in Ambulance and did cpr.
